Web Based Publishing
Securely manage your event calendar from any computer at anytime. All you need is an internet connection and your favorite web browser.

Flexible Recurring Event Publishing
Save time by entering recurring events once and publishing them for multiple dates. Miss a date? Need a unique series of times for different dates? Easily create event series with existing events without spending time re-entering event information.

RSS 2.0 Event Feeds
Advanced support for RSS 2.0 compliant event feeds makes it easy for users to access your events. Default feeds include: All Events, Newest Events, Featured Events and Most Popular Events. A custom RSS feed builder allows your users to create feeds with events for their favorite cities & categories.

Platform Independent Mobile Calendar
Helios Calendar mobile allows users to browse and search events using their favorite mobile device, including: PDAs, Mobile Telephones, even the new iPod touch. TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor w/MCImageManager Plug-in!
Easily style, embed media and add custom HTML to your event & location descriptions, newsletter templates and more with a custom integrated version of the TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor.

As a bonus for Helios Calendar users, Refresh has licensed MCImageManager for distribution with Helios Calendar, at no additional cost to our users allowing you to easily upload, crop, resize and manage your event images.

Location Manager
Easily manage your locations separately from events. Make a change to the location once and all of it's events are updated simultaneously. List your events with custom Location information including: Address, Email, Phone, Website Link and Description. Easily create custom styled location descriptions with HTML, images and more using TinyMCE.

Shared Team Administration
Share the publishing workload through teamwork & collaboration. Customize thirteen different account settings to tailor each admin account with varying levels of access for each user's unique responsibilities.

Public Event Submission
Easily and securely manage public event submissions. Submitted events are held in the "Pending Events Queue" hidden from your public users until you decide what gets published. Easily decline submission (batch delete available) or approve events with your own modifications by editing them before publishing to your site. Send response messages to event submitters with just a click to encourage repeat submissions.

Public event submission is an optional feature and can be disabled at anytime.

Real-time Admin Alert Notices via Email (New Event Submission, Comment Complaints)
Respond quickly to priority event submissions and user comment complaint reports with, optional, real-time email notices.

Alert notices are configured per admin account and multiple users can receive various combinations of alerts.

Send Event Newsletters
Send email newsletters with event content chosen by your users. Users sign-up for the categories they are interested in and you can send newsletters by simply selecting the date range. Build customized HTML templates and save them for later use to dress up your newsletters and add custom content.

Custom Event Export & Reverse Publishing (Format Template Supported)
Create and save custom export templates for repeated fast & easy export of event data. Default templates include custom layouts for InDesign, Quark, CSV, XML & more.

Easily modify default templates, or create your own with over twenty-five (25) supported data variables and five (5) custom setting options, using Helios Calendar's export template editor.

Event Import
iCalendar and CSV/Tab delimited event import supported.

Custom Categories & Subcategories
Add as many custom categories and subcategories as you need to make filtering and accessing your events even easier. (Parent-Child single level depth supported)

Eventful® Publishing API Integration
Eventful® API integration allows simultaneous publishing of events on both your public calendar and Eventful.com.

Eventbrite Publishing API Integration
Eventbrite API integration allows simultaneous publishing of events on both your public calendar and Eventbrite.com. Use your Eventbrite account to sell tickets, manage attendee registration and collect fees. Your users can see ticket availability and place ticket orders directly from your Helios Calendar.

Twitter API Integration
Post tweets to your Twitter timeline about newly added, updated & approved events. Tweets include your custom hashtag & a link to the event on your public calendar.
